Rene Jones- Owner/Instructor & Competitive Company Director & Choreographer

Rene started her dance career at the age of two. She studied Ballet, Jazz, Tap & Contemporary at the Ann Clark School of Dance. She was a member of the Dance Theatre of Fayetteville for 8 years where she performed in many of the classics like the Nutcracker, Swan Lake and Coppelia. At the age of 14, she added Ballroom & Latin to her repertoire. She began competing on the competitive Latin Ballroom circuit at age 19. Rene & her partner won awards in the Theatre Arts & Latin Five Dance Division in competitions such as the Heritage Classic, the Atlanta Open & the Atlanta Dance Classic. Rene spent several years teaching Ballroom & Latin dance to adults before finding a great passion for teaching youth. She spent 7 years teaching Ballet, Lyrical, Tap & Jazz at a local Fayetteville studio before moving to Okinawa, Japan. During her time in Japan, Rene was an Instructor and Manager at Footloose Dance Studio. She taught Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz & Tap to American and Japanese students. Rene also had the pleasure of directing Performance and Competition Teams at Footloose. Her teams and students won awards at Local Japanese competitions such as Dance Monsters, Okinawa International Fest & Okinawa International Ballet Competition. Rene is a certified instructor with Acrobatic Arts Association. Rene is a proud military spouse and resides in Fayetteville with her husband & two daughters. She is happy to have the opportunity to share her love of the art form with local dancers & their families.

Haley Wanovich- Instructor & Competitive Company Choreographer

Haley View, a native of Fayetteville, began her dance career at the age of two studying all forms of dance including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical and Hip Hop. Haley spent 10 years as a competition dancer winning many team and solo artist awards at Regional & National competitions including Dancer of the Year in 2016 at Dance Machine. Haley is both a teacher and choreographer. Many of her pieces have received top Overall awards including a Top National Overall award in 2017. Haley received her BFA in Dance from the University of Alabama earning a Bachelor of Arts in Dance & a Minor in Computer Science. Haley’s live performances include local shows like the Heart of Christmas and on stage at Dance Alabama with the University of Alabama Dance Club.

Madeline Cook- Instructor & Competitive Company Choreographer

Madeline Cook was born in Kansas and moved to North Carolina when she was 3. She grew up dancing at POPS Performing Arts Academy and had a love for dance at an early age. She attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts where she obtained her Bachelors of Fine Arts. She cheered professionally for the NFL as a TopCat for the Carolina Panthers and performs as a dancer, champagne dress and living table for various corporate events through a company called Elevate. Her favorite style is contemporary, but she has a strong passion and love for Ballet & technique classes!


Kelly Gyatt- Instructor

Kelly grew up in Auburn, Alabama, and began dancing at age 3 with Auburn Ballet School then later with Variations Dance Studio. Her studies predominately ranged in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, and Irish Dance. While studying Theatre and Dance at Auburn University, she was selected to perform in Colony (from choreographer Bill Evans) for the American College Dance Festival Association in their national festival at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. This sparked her interest to explore dance not just as the performer. She began choreographing for the Auburn Area Community Theater with “Hairspray, The Musical.” After earning her B.A. she worked on a film in Atlanta while teaching & choreographing in the Auburn area. Kelly later moved to Nashville where she taught at Nashville Ballet Afterschool Ballet Club and at Natalie’s Dance Network. She is a NASM-CPT and has a passion for merging dance with fitness! Kelly now lives in NC with her husband Doug.


Ally Marley- Instructor &

Competitive Company Choreographer

Ally Marley started dancing at age 4, and has taken classes in ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and tap throughout the course of her training. She began her dance education in her hometown of Fayetteville at a local studio, training under various instructors including her mother Rene, the owner of Inspiration. At age 12 she moved to Okinawa, Japan, and was able to continue her dance education at Footloose Dance Studio, where she took many classes and was part of a successful competition team, winning awards at multiple local competitions including the Okinawa International Ballet Competition. Ally was a member of Inspiration’s competition team until she graduated, and won overall placements as a group member and soloist at various competitions for 3 years, including a Highest Scoring Routine at Star Systems Nationals. She now continues her dance education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, working towards a BFA with a Choreography concentration. Ally applies her creativity not only to her dancing, but also to her passion for graphic design and art, and looks forward to carrying this creativity into her teaching at IDA.


Stacy Plotts- Instructor

Stacy’s studies in ballet began over 35 years ago with Ann V. Clark. Stacy studied other styles in addition to Ballet including Tap, Jazz, and Modern. Stacy performed with The Dance Theatre of Fayetteville, Impulse Dance, The Wilmington Civic Ballet, The Dance Theatre of Wilmington & Orlando Ballet Company. After performing with Impulse Dance, she began taking a more serious approach to classical ballet & continued her studies under Adriano & Gaetano Welch. She auditioned for the North Carolina School of the Arts, was accepted, and began her studies there her Sophmore year of high school. Stacy was offered a scholarship from NCSA during her Junior year. Knowing that dance was an integral part of her life, Stacy realized she had a deep love for teaching children and began researching Universities that would best suit her needs. She attended East Carolina University for their awesome dance school and equally stellar School of Education. After graduating from ECU and studying ballet under Joseph Carrow and Jazz under Alan Arnett, she returned to Fayetteville in 1995, to begin her career as a school and dance teacher. She has been teaching in private studios and public schools ever since.



Megan Schuttloffel-Instructor

Megan is originally from South Dakota. She started cheering and tumbling at the age of 5 and continued all the way through the college level. She was a competitive gymnast for 6 years. She started coaching in 2016 and has coached all levels from preschool through high school. She is excited to share her passion for tumbling with the students of Inspiration Dance!


Brittney Leger-Instructor

Brittney began dancing by age 3 and was competing regionally & nationally by age 5. Brittney studied many styles of dance including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical & Tumble. Brittney studied under many top instructors including Terry Shulke, Mandy Rogers, Gina Starbuck, Mandy Hall, Andrew & Missy Zimmer. Brittney has had many years of teaching experience including co-owning a studio and teaching at several studios in the Southern California area. Brittney has the pleasure of sharing her love of dance with the students of Fayetteville Christian School where she is the choreographer for their musical productions. Brittney is a proud wife and mom of three. She is excited to share her passion for dance with the students of IDA.


Eli Motley- Instructor

Elijah, or Eli is a choreographer, dancer, teacher, and currently an MFA Degree of Dance and Choreography candidate at the University of North Carolina Greensboro. Eli holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and Theatre and a Bachelor of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. After graduation, Eli relocated to Chicago and danced for three seasons as a company member with Chicago Dance Crash, from 2017-2020. As a solo artist, he choreographed and performed his works in Chicago, Wisconsin, Norfolk, and Texas. In addition to performing, he taught dance in the Chicago Public Schools System, various dance studios, and high school dance festivals. Eli is now an MFA Graduate for Dance and Choreography at The University of North Carolina Greensboro.
