2023-2024 Inspiration Team Dancers
Our Competitive Company program is for our most serious dancers. Our competitive dancers are at the studio 3-5 days out of the week and dance many hours during the week. Competitive dance is a great way to learn discipline, excel in the art form, and enjoy fellowship with fellow teammates!
Inspiration Team Philosophy
During my time in Japan, I fell in love with the competition culture there. The Japanese studio dancers show great mutual respect and support for one another. They are taught to show respect for teammates, fellow competitors and teachers. The parents, dancers and teachers at local studios in Okinawa, Japan enjoy the bonds, fellowship and experiences that being a part of a team can bring when there isn't unnecessary stress and drama. My goal is to bring this type of experience to our "Team-Family" experience at Inspiration. I believe it is equally as important to teach a dancer the etiquette of being a gracious competitor as it is to teach them the technique of a perfect pirouette. A true family atmosphere can only help to provide a productive environment in the studio. It is possible to produce exceptional dancers in today's competitive dance world while maintaining a positive & kind atmosphere!
